The Director and the Associate Director of the Office of Student Judicial Affairs serve as advisors to the Student Disciplinary Board, IFC Judicial Board, Panhellenic Judicial Board and the Student Tribunal. They are responsible for ensuring that the disciplinary policies set forth in Hilltopics are observed and that student rights are protected. Additionally, the Director and Associate Director coordinate the investigation of cases and monitor students on disciplinary probation.
Judicial Advisors
Judicial Advisors are graduate assistants who work 20 hours per week in the Office of Student Judicial Affairs. Judicial Advisors are full time students at the University of Tennessee College of Law. Judicial Advisors investigate reports of student misconduct, and conduct meetings with students who visit the Office of Student Judicial Affairs. Additionally, Judicial Advisors serve as student representatives and university representatives in disciplinary proceedings conducted before student boards and Academic Review Boards.
